What each sensor watches for.
We choose the sensors for the building during the walkthrough — always the encrypted version, so the signal between the sensor and the panel is far harder to fake. A few long-range models pair only with the EDGE.

Doors, windows, and gates
Slim door and window sensor
Three-quarters of an inch wide, made for narrow commercial frames.
Hidden door sensor
Set into the edge of the door, so nothing shows when it is closed.
Weather-resistant outdoor sensor
Takes −40 to 150°F on sheds, gates, and outbuildings.
Long-life indoor sensor
A battery that lasts up to 8 years, for the windows nobody wants to ladder to twice.
Outdoor gate sensor
Works with gaps up to 1.3 inches on yard and lot gates that never close quite tight.

Rooms, hallways, and glass
Motion detector
Covers a 30-by-50-foot room and ignores pets — up to 55 or 85 pounds, depending on the model.
Glass break detector
Hears the thud and the shatter, and one unit covers a whole room of glass — storefront windows, sliders, display cases. Models reach out to 15 feet.
Glass break in the panel itself
The EDGE listens for breaking glass in the room where it hangs.

An 85-decibel alarm with a 10-year life, for anywhere with gas heat or an attached garage.
For alarms you already have
A listener that hears your existing smoke or CO alarm sound and notifies the panel. It does not detect fire itself.

Water leak detector
Catches a drip or standing water under water heaters, sinks, and ice makers, and warns when a room turns too hot or too cold.

What a door sensor cannot cover
Overhead door and gate sensor
Alerts when a bay door or gate tips open past 45 degrees — the one that tells you the shop door is still up at eleven at night.
Stove and grill guard
Alerts when a burner knob is turned away from off.
Gun motion detector
A locking trigger guard that alerts the panel if the firearm is moved.
Connection
The panel does not need your internet to call out.
If the power goes out, or the internet goes down, and a sensor trips — the panel still sends the alert to your phone over its own cell connection. That independence is what the monthly cell service pays for, and it is the point of having an alarm at all.
The EDGE can also use your Wi-FiBackup battery inside the panel
Cost
How the investment works.
Every alarm system is quoted for the building it protects. The equipment and the installation go on a single agreement — paid up front or spread over time, whichever suits the business — and the cell service that carries your alerts is billed monthly. You see the complete plan, panel and sensors and service together, before anything is ordered. Call for pricing.
The system sounds on site and alerts your phone. If you want monitoring service on top of that, call and we will walk through exactly what is included before you commit to anything.

Older systems
If the building already has a wired alarm, the wiring can usually stay.
Existing wiring
Keep the wiring, replace the panel
A small module reads the wiring already in the walls, so nobody pulls new cable through a finished building. The EDGE also works with many older 2GIG and Honeywell sensors, so a system that has aged out of support can often be modernized without starting over.
Automation
The same panel runs the lights, the thermostat, and the garage door.
Add them at install or later — they show up on the panel screen and in the same app.
